A 3D real-time strategy game in the classic base-building style. Harvest Verdite crystal, build a base, train tanks and infantry, and destroy the Crimson Legion before they destroy you.
How to Play
Click structures in the sidebar to build them, then click again to place them near your base. Build a Power Plant and a Refinery first: your Harvester gathers green Verdite for credits. Train infantry at the Barracks and vehicles at the War Factory. Left-click or drag to select units, right-click to move or attack, mouse wheel to zoom, middle-drag or arrow keys to scroll. A = attack-move, S = stop, Ctrl+1-9 to save control groups. Destroy every enemy structure to win.
About Steel Dominion
Steel Dominion is a free 3D real-time strategy game in the classic base-building style. Build a base, harvest glowing Verdite crystal for credits, train infantry and tanks, and destroy every enemy structure before the computer destroys yours. It runs in the browser using WebGL, with no download.
The economy is the heart of it. Every Refinery comes with a free Harvester that drives out to the crystal fields on its own and hauls loads back for credits. Power Plants keep your base running; if you use more power than you make, production slows and defences go offline. From there the tech tree opens up: Barracks and War Factory, Radar, Gun Turrets and Prism Towers, a Tech Center, eight unit types, eight researchable upgrades and an orbital strike.
Getting started
Build a Power Plant, then a Refinery near the crystals, then a Barracks and War Factory. An on-screen objective panel walks you through each step. Left-click or drag to select units, right-click to move or attack, and use the mouse wheel to zoom. Press A to attack-move and Ctrl plus a number to save a control group. Easy mode gives you extra money and a slow, gentle opponent, which is the best way to learn.
Built for the browser
Every unit and building is a real 3D model with shadows, and the battlefield has fog of war, animated water, glowing effects, explosions and an announcer voice. Each map is randomly generated. If your device struggles, the game lowers its own graphics settings automatically so it stays smooth.

Not yet. You play against a computer opponent on Easy, Normal or Hard.
